Accessibility statement
We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA.
Yorewire is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not yet had an independent audit, so there may be problems we have missed.
What we do
- Pages use proper headings, landmarks and a “skip to content” link.
- Everything works with a keyboard, and the focus outline is always visible.
- Colours meet AA contrast in both the light and dark themes, which follow your device setting.
- Every image has a text description.
- Form fields have visible labels.
- Text resizes and pages reflow down to a narrow phone screen without sideways scrolling.
